Ooh the glamour of being a volunteer in the Kilpeck Pantomime Society….

As I work fulltime and with darkness setting in before 5.00pm, my available time to work on the props is restricted to weekends only.  This is because they are all created, glued and painted in our potting shed.  So after a particularly cold Saturday spent painting pretend prawns, I thought you’d like to witness the glamour that accompanies my role as prop maker!

However, even though I look as if I have escaped from a secure unit for the mentally deranged, I do really enjoy my time spent in my little shed with my glitter glue and ‘Hard as Nails’.  It’s a great excuse to hide myself away and listen to my Radio 4 podcasts in peace.  Absolute bliss!
